Advanced, affordable diagnostic care in the heart of Pokhara.
Kaligandaki Diagnostic and Research Center Pvt. Ltd. (KDRC) is a medical diagnostic centre located at Shantipath, Amarsingh Chowk, Pokhara-10, Kaski, Nepal. Since our inception we have served the people of Pokhara and western Nepal with a simple promise: modern equipment, qualified doctors, and honest prices in one place.
Our imaging department is built around a 192-slice high-resolution Siemens CT scanner — one of very few in the country — an open-type MRI that makes scanning comfortable even for claustrophobic and larger patients, high-definition ultrasound with 3D/4D and volume imaging, and high-definition endoscopy. Every study is read and reported by consultant radiologists on site, supported by a full range of services from BMD and EEG to FNAC, biopsy, Doppler and a 24/7 ambulance.
Beyond walk-in patients, we partner with hospitals and imaging centres across Nepal through our teleradiology service, and bring ultrasound to homebound patients with our mobile ultrasound visits.

Patients in Pokhara and western Nepal should not have to travel to Kathmandu or abroad for accurate, advanced imaging. KDRC exists to bring that level of diagnosis close to home — with modern equipment, specialist doctors and clear communication — so treating doctors get the answers they need, and patients get treated sooner.
High-speed, high-resolution CT for the head, chest, abdomen, spine and trauma, plus CT angiography of the heart and vessels.
Open on all sides to reduce claustrophobia — detailed, radiation-free imaging of the brain, spine, joints and soft tissue.
Abdominal, pelvic, obstetric and anomaly scans, plus colour Doppler for blood flow.
High-definition gastroscopy to examine the food pipe, stomach and duodenum, with biopsy when needed.
Alongside imaging we offer bone mineral density (BMD), EEG, pulmonary function tests, image-guided FNAC and biopsy, catheter insertion, mobile ultrasound and a 24-hour ambulance.
Walk-in and referred patients from Pokhara, Kaski and the wider Gandaki region — from expectant mothers coming for a 4D scan to trauma patients who need a CT within minutes.
Clinicians across Pokhara send patients to KDRC for imaging and image-guided procedures, and hospitals outside the city use our teleradiology service for specialist reporting of CT, MRI and X-ray.
